this is my go at a fireworks script. It has a 3d launcher and 3d rockets , I used entities for the explosions then added a lighting node for the light effect, It randomly fires red white blue and green , it also makes sounds when launched and exploding.

Maybe you should consider making the launcher digable.

ok I changed it so that the launcher is dropped on the ground shoots rockets automatically for a few minutes then disappears.

I fixed a few more bugs and made it so the rockets explode at different heights. runs much better now. I plan to go through and further clean some of the code to tune it up a little more later.
