+1 especially the minerals textures, but the ore blocks look too simple IMHO.Jordach wrote:The textures here look awesome!

I made a few (a lot of?) mods for minetest: here is a list.
See also the MT-Faithful texture pack (work in progress).

For the ore blocks, could the textures look similar to the new ones for the base game? Could the rest of the ores have ore blocks as well?

Hi GhoopMaster. I have two suggestions: blocks for arol and kalite (made with 9 lumps each). Kalite blocks can be eaten and recover 4.5 hearts and arol blocks can be used as decoration and are more resistant than other materials (even blast resistant). This would help on storage of this materials to.
What do you think?

Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
I'm not sure if anyone else is using this mod, but I did find a minor bug with reverse crafting gem blocks, I fixed it for my copy of the mod since it was a simple mislabeling of an item.
Here is the location of the bug, to fix it just swap "emerald_gems" to "sapphire_gems" to be able to turn sapphire blocks back into their own gems.
Line 482 in the ore module init.lua script is glitched, the output is set for emerald gems instead of sapphire gems for reverse crafting a sapphire block

Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
I can't find any ore spawning, any idea why? Everything else seems to work fine. To make sure how/where do I adjust the rarity?
Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
Why are the textures for Talinite Ore just regular stone textures?
Makes fisding the stuff very hard lol.
Think others may be the same as well..

Anyone?nvrsbr wrote:Why are the textures for Talinite Ore just regular stone textures?

Are the ores just supposed to show up as small textures in the corner of regular blocks?
Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
Are you using a HD texture pack or that has textures bigger that 16x ? The textures of mods (that use overlays, the texture for ores are like that) don't adapt to the texture pack and that happensnvrsbr wrote:Anyone?nvrsbr wrote:Why are the textures for Talinite Ore just regular stone textures?

Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
I know that this is an old mod, but what are kalite, talinite, arol, and alkalin?
Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
I've got Gloop Test and Gloop Blocks and I'm getting the following error:
AsyncErr: Lua: finishGenRuntime error from mod 'glooptest' in callback environment_OnGenerated(): Runtime error from mod 'glooptest' in callback item_OnPlace(): ...ames\minetest-5.3.0-win64\bin\..\mods\mesetec/teleob.lua:2: attempt to index local 'placer' (a nil value)

I've tried disabling Gloop Bloocks only and that didn't help. A restart of Minestest will sometimes allow me to continue for a time in a new unexplored area, but then the game crashes again. Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: [ModPack][0.0.4] GloopTest Pack! [glooptest]
They appear to be fantasy ores. A quick Google search suggests that they originated either in a Minetest mod, or in some source sufficiently obscure that it's not indexed and its fantasy materials don't get discussed online much.
Personally, I think a great use for them, would be as a means to inject currency into a server economy, by having the state purchase these "valuable" minerals. This avoids taking things like diamonds and gold and silver and copper (all of which are needed for crafting various technologies, depending on what other mods you have installed) out of circulation, yet allows for currency to be made available without using the universal-basic-income feature of the currency mod, which makes the currency feel cheap and nearly worthless.

I agree, and made a Mod after your idea: https://content.minetest.net/packages/G ... _exchange/jonadab wrote: ↑Mon Aug 02, 2021 01:19Personally, I think a great use for them, would be as a means to inject currency into a server economy, by having the state purchase these "valuable" minerals.
