Translations added for Minetest 5.x thanks to Dacmot.
Note to players with both farming and moreores: This change, specifically after commit 92cafe1c, means you need to update your moreores version to at least commit d2933894 or the tooltips for mithril and silver hoes will break and spew this error:

Code: Select all

ERROR[Main]: Ignoring escape sequence 'T@farming' in translation
Same goes as well for any mod "B" that depends on some other mod "A", where B has moved to 5.x translations but A has not yet.

Edit: I wish I had tried this mod before I made a post before. After messing with it for a few days I was blown away by the awesomeness of it. I ran around for a while collecting plants and stuck them in dirt. I've never seen my garden look so nice before. This is what was missing. I'm just running a single player server and still a noob really.

Has anyone had any problem growing rhubarb? I got everything else to grow besides rhubarb. I tried both wet and dry dirt and osmosis-growing (like papyrus).

rhubarb likes the shade, not direct sunlight

Really nice work! I love your mods!

But there is one thing, I don't understand - why do you select the biomes? You know there are a lot of servers with mapgens that don't work with dry or rainforest dirt. Why you don't differ the mapgen for these servers? Same thing for the trees...
Newest example is soy...

Other question - what about creating the missing biomes like the realms?

Btw - the colored pepper is a great idea!!!

@MOZ - Farming crops were made to spawn on default biomes in the game and Ethereal biomes if that is used, it's up to the mapgen/biome maker for other mods to add compatibility.

The problem is v6 vs. v7.

Look in the mapgen.lua

You have the problem solved for pumpkin for example.... why not for the rest?
coffee, soy, pepper, pineapple, wild cotton

It would be a simple if-else-question...

- Added Salt Crystal (thanks Gorlock)

Mostly a way to store more salt (9x salt = 1x salt crystal) and for decoration. Dropping 8 or 9 salt into water can also form crystals if using my builtin_item mod, and to craft crystals back into salt use mortar & pestle :)

Caramel Flan should give back an empty bottle when using vanilla extract.
(bottle <- ethanol <- extract => mixed in the flan :)

A remark about vegan cheese (not so serious):
agar powder(ethereal): ok.
bone powder (bonemeal): no so vegan

Compatibility with petz: maybe also add petz:bucket_milk to be replaced by an empty bucket.

Thanks again for all those new dishes and plants.

@mazes_80 - flan recipe returns bottle and uses group:food_milk to cover all items that will return a bucket :)

Cucina vegana uses vessels:drinking_glass as recipient for their soy_milk who belongs to group:food_milk.

Does someone have a picture of soy in the wild? I haven't been able to find it and I think I may be overlooking it.

I should have been more specific. I meant a picture of wild soya within minetest. (Still haven't found any.) Thank you for the rl images, though!

I found wild soya, finally. I was looking in the wrong biome. Hopefully these links to my pictures will help someone else:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/o31r6yzamfc7z ... 1.png?dl=0

I found them in a savannah biome. I had been looking in grassland/forest biomes.

Some time ago I had an error reading

Code: Select all

2020-12-22 12:55:24: ERROR[Main]: ServerError: AsyncErr: ServerThread::run Lua: Expecting itemstack, itemstring, table or nil. item=farming:carrot
Unfortunately I don't know what exactly the player did. There are carrot related lines in the log the minutes before, so at least someone had probably carrots in their hands:

Code: Select all

2020-12-22 12:51:11: ACTION[Server]: A uses farming:carrot, pointing at [nothing]
2020-12-22 12:51:30: ACTION[Server]: B uses farming:carrot, pointing at [node under=2036,-774,1196 above=2036,-774,1197]
2020-12-22 12:51:53: ACTION[Server]: B uses farming:carrot, pointing at [node under=2034,-776,1197 above=2035,-776,1197]
2020-12-22 12:52:57: ACTION[Server]: B uses farming:carrot, pointing at [nothing]
2020-12-22 12:53:42: ACTION[Server]: C uses farming:carrot, pointing at [node under=1985,30,1184 above=1985,31,1184]
2020-12-22 12:53:44: ACTION[Server]: C uses farming:carrot, pointing at [node under=1985,30,1184 above=1985,31,1184]
2020-12-22 12:53:52: ACTION[Server]: C uses farming:carrot, pointing at [nothing]
2020-12-22 12:54:33: ACTION[Server]: B uses farming:carrot, pointing at [node under=2056,-791,1231 above=2056,-790,1231]
2020-12-22 12:55:24: ERROR[Main]: ServerError: AsyncErr: ServerThread::run Lua: Expecting itemstack, itemstring, table or nil. item=farming:carrot
Noone could make heads or tails of it and I forgot about it. May have been a special breed of carrots. Yesterday, it happened again, rapsberries this time. No player claimed they had done anything relating to raspberries.

Code: Select all

2021-04-24 14:42:19: ERROR[Main]: ServerError: AsyncErr: ServerThread::run Lua: Expecting itemstack, itemstring, table or nil. item=farming:raspberries
How can I keep carrots and raspberries from rebelling?

For my reference 492

Request: Add some indicator that a plant is fully grown

Example - Prepend "Mature" to the plant name or append *

Tenplus1 I noticed the Gyoza graphic was 57x57px not 16x16px. Not sure if you want a 16x16 version but I felt like drawing something :)

Not sure if either of these are any good but feel free to use them or not - I drew them so all CC0, I used the current gyoza's colour palette.

enlarged preview of both images (4x enlargement) - left image side on, right slightly angled not sure that works at 16px:

All good with me, glad you could use them :). I ahd a quick go at mint and added some flowers to stage4 so its easier to spot when rdy - Hopefully wont get confused with cotton, I dont think so....

All @ 4x enlargement - CC0 again

Sorry I had to zip the bundle as there appears to be a 3 file upload limit...

Edit: Not sure I'll get to many more anytime soon but if I do i'll add them here :).
