I am new but I missed the section where it said you had travelnet already in this pack and I downloaded another but neither show up.
I removed the additional mods except for yours but it still says in search I don't have a telenet.
And I noticed I got invasion of rats, very annoying creatures.
I am not sure how to fix this any pointers would be appreciated.
Also any tutorials you have for what in your modpack would be helpful too. I try to find some on my own but I ran into thing called inventory wand and I got no clue what it does.

You probably just need to "Configure" your world, disable the entire Dreambuilder modpack, and then re-enable the whole thing to fix the travelnets.

If the rats are annoying, disable the "carbone_mobs" mod and run /clearobjects quick

I never produced any kind of tutorial, so you just gotta learn what's there.

Where do I type /clearobjects quick is it in the chat window?
I found out some on youtube but whenever I looked up Dreambuilder that was some playing with it but not much else:(

yes type /clearobjects in the chat window
and it can take some time expect lag whist command is running

I found in the configuration the "carbone_mobs" mod and deleted it. But I got to ask do I still need to type "/clearobjects quick "?
Also when I logged back in that moving wand keeps giving red error messages no clue what it is.
I guess if I can't figure it out I will ignore and remember all years of bs with EA and microsoft that I paid tons for but had to settle for all sorts of qlitches....lol

I tried that when I got in but it said "You don't have permissions for this command[missing privileges;server]

I am on single player, no server. I guess I got to figure out privileges
edit: I found commands did /grantme all one that works still clueless though lol
A few minutes after I did the clear command all rats reappeared crawling under my door to my workshop:(

Yes I originally disabled it from config menu.
I haven't seen them return yet since last time so maybe it was just momentarily glitch.

Vanessa, new suggestion! Add please this mod: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18370 I consider that mod may accept to players building of churches and also some furnishment in them.

It's not my religion (I'm Jewish), and in any case religion has no place in Minetest.

By the way, did you adopt a solution to add Advtrains to your servers?

Nope, not going to add the bridges mod. It looks kinda nice, but it also looks like objects are made out of tons and tons of nodeboxes (means poor video performance). If it hadn't been for that, I might have considered adding it. The advanced carts mod may go in at some point, however, as long as it doesn't interfere with boost_cart (or if it can directly replace it).

For those who have not heard, in short: my husband passed away due to cardiac arrest on Aug 14, and I can't afford to stay where I am now, so I've been spending these past two weeks alternating between grieving, packing, planning, and resting.

So right now, I have little time and little interest in Minetest, and for that matter pretty much anything else except the above. Maybe in the near future but for now, I will not be adding anything else to the modpack or making new releases.

would it be possible to bump caverealms to 0.8 (latest stable)? there are some real neat caves to explore...

we grafted 0.8 onto our branch of dreambuilder, everything is seamless.

I don't know if this is the right place to get help, but here goes.

I'm having problems with the player_textures mod. I added some textures for some players under the mods/dreambuilder_modpack/player_textures/textures on my server, but when clients connect, the textures aren't being shown. In fact, the players are typically a solid colour like white, magenta or cyan. I thought I had a work around by creating a texturepack on the clients with the same player textures, but this is a) annoying because all the clients need to have the same textures and b) after a few seconds, the players go back to the solid colours. it doesn't matter what textures I use, even the ones in the mod itself. Any suggestions?

another mod that could use bumping is technic: we figured switching stations attempt to forceload themselves on install, which is great in single player, but not so much online. the recent technic branch has that behavior fixed, so all forceloading is done by the anchor. we temp-fixed it with comments.

another minor issue we fixed is the conflicting recipe
iron bar , iron bar
iron bar , iron bar
which makes both steel trapdoor (which is in minetest game) & some kinda soft steel plate (which is in dreambuilder/steel), we fixed it by changing the soft plate recipe to something more unique.

we are also having great experience with mobs redo, more or less latest branch, in lieu of carbon, which we disabled in world.mt, we got redo api, animals, and monsters. very nice and stable :)

While Vanessa E is on sabbatical, a lot of us who have been dependent on her will have issues with wanting upgrades. So that I could use the latest WorldBuilder without taking away the Dreambuilder, I removed the world builder folders from Dreambuilder. This removed the conflicts. We all want Vanessa back with us, our worlds crumble without her. :) Till she comes back and all is well again, I think I will remove technic from Dreambuilder and try your new updates.
