Like you maybe know, I work on a new map.

What I planed:
Spoiler
  • A mine for each team (maybe with diamonds and mese)
  • destroyed houses
  • a destroyed landscape
  • lava lakes

im making maps, how do i get them uploaded?
4 maps are done, im still working on 2

if you are interested, i can zip, set homes and upload them here and if there should be chests on a map, i add a text file with nodes

and only so you know, im using a texture pack named refi, so it doesnt look like regular mt

I SHOULD BE UNBANNED

walkingdeath was banned to 6 / 6 12.30 swedish time, and is unbanned now

blockysunday and bloodysunday is banned for ban evading ^ and should be unbanned now but they are not, i think the jerk admin that banned me ( probably anand or lone wolf ) forgot to set date when ban expires on bloodysunday

so im playing with other names now until ban is off

It's underwater, so you might have to make the waters drowning 0 to be playable

I am minetevc here an a very frequent player of yours .
I have been trying for the couple of Months to get a way to submit my map after so much efforts (i also had trouble trying to place the barriers without fault ) and have finally done every thing as it should be.
I just hope you like it!

The map is basically when 2 planes crash, each red team and blue team have to protect there small residence and flag until they are to be rescued by the rescue camp.
Their is also some resources hidden in their base like diamond ore and stuff.

this is about the map i have made,
-sniper- says that my map has some problems with the cords and things,
this is the updated map.(I have re-exported)Lets see if it works this time.
I also got the CTF game downloaded but whenever i play it it gives an error with the lua code . I do not know lua so i cant fix it to test my map.
Hope it works!

This still won't work. You can get detailed instructions about map export here: https://github.com/MT-CTF/capturethefla ... -map-maker
If you want to test map you should download CTF game and place it in ./minetest/games. Then when you start CTF game in minetest don't forget to choose singlenode mapgen. If you get an error that probably means that you didn't export the map correctly.

Even my map has a lots of diamond, iron and coal hidden underground.
Also The bases have a long protection from untrickable mese and untrickable wooden ladder.
It is a plain but I ensure that my friends who play the game will enjoy it.

Requirements and guidance
  • The design of a map should encourage differing game play and tactics. By this, I mean that new maps which can be played the same as current maps is a bit boring
  • Maps cannot contain nodes with meta data - ie: signs and chests.
  • Maps should be reasonably balanced - ie: two team of equal ability would have the same chance of winning.
  • Maps are less likely to be accepted if they contain nodes that are not in MTG.
  • Maps shouldn't be glitchy (ie: no holes which lead into void, no wrongly placed barriers).
  • It's perfectly fine to massively modify maps, for example creating buildings.
Some of the above aren't met by some existing maps, but that will be fixed at some point.
how do i vewi the schematic file
i have world edit

i installed and extracted the file to world were i dint find an schme folder so i made one
then i go to my world granted all the commands types //pos1
//mtschemplace world name and pressed enter. then it says cannot open the file

Is there anything like you need to select Z=0 while placing the barriers.
If you do X=0, you will get wrong initials of the bases and the barrier will be crashed.
Like i just wanted to confirm if this is true because i think that its not the purpose of the x = 0 and z = 0,these are just the way the barrier is placed,if u put x = 0 the barrier will face a different direction and same if you put z = 0.

Ok, i've redone the map , this is a whole new one and is very similar except it wont be in the chilly altitudes but more in a greenish mountain area.This time i've made it more fun by adding ores like iron , coal ,diamond and mese in concentrated areas in both sides of the team(equally).The mese and diamond will be found in your own base hidden,the iron will be in some ruins you will have to find.To make it even more fun i've also made a broken airplane crashed in the middle of the map.....and just wanted to know if i will have to make a new PR to get this one published?Screenshots can be viewed here - https://postimg.cc/gallery/DhcdnY7
