[WE.Schematic] Lava Beacon

by Nanuk » Post

Lava Beacon is a tower-like structure that can be placed around to guide player's through the wilderness and inbetween town locations. Lava is encased in glass at the top and it not only acts as a light source but pulses like a beacon.. hence the name lol.

Lava Beacon has one entrance at the bottom. It has two walkable floors accessible by ladders. Torches have been placed on the inside to give a glowing effect on the outside when it is dark, however you can light up the outside to your liking once placed.

I've placed several of these every fifty blocks or so on my server to help guide my friends when darkness falls. They seem to appreciate them. Enjoy!

Thanks Nanuk, you do great work. I have included this in deploy_building (as a medium building) and into towntest.

Great idea! I made a lighthouse from torches, but it doesn't do much... I will try this.

@ rubenwardy - In my first post, there are two flickr links listed under Photos. If you click those links, you will see screenshots. I know people have clicked the links because it currently shows 58 views for the first link and 38 views for the second link.
