Hmmmm... I haven't planned something like that. The marketplaces, that I know are all tarred or paved, without varyings... If you see the entire place, you will see a little momunment, that make the place less monotonous.
Without mods it is not possible to make a good looking marked day, so the place remains empty in the near future.

Schwarzalbenheim is 95% build manually and 5% build with the help of WorldEdit. How do I generate buildings? I haven't heard this before.

Take a look at LOTH's mines. You may also consider asking KGM(hes german too). I can, however, briefly explain how they work :

Its only one week for the next downloadable version of the map. The cinema will be unfinished at that time, but I will finish the modernization of the subway next weekend.

I have begun the filming of the next video this weekend, and next weekend I hope to make an more interesting film about the map. :)
The filming of the big cities is more problematic as I thought. With the graphics options from the last videos, I have in Königsdorf not more then 10 Frames per second. Now I make the movie with not so good graphics, but ca. 20 Frames per second. I will record all without the fast mode and use time lapse then...

No. There is no real Karsthafen. The only Karsthafen of the world is in Minetest. :D
But there are real counterparts of some buildings in the real world. But the buildings are not exactly copied. Only parts of the buildings. ;)

The graphics quality of the real world is too high... And there are details that are so small in the real world! And there can even more than one thing in 1m³!

Even the output of the map is too big. I think I'll do a video on rode stadt to present a TP.

EDIT: actually no, I can't download the map it's too big. It would take multiple days to download :'(

I have not one style that i mainly use. I wan't to build houses in many different architecture styles. And at some buildings, I build the rooms first, and then the house front, at other houses reverse.
And some houses I build with help from WorldEdit, other without it.

I sometimes too, when I need to see large structures. But most time, I have 20 fps.
As I recorded for the video, I had 8-10 fps at the areal of Königsdorf, 20 fps at the areal of Karsthafen. In the video, I used a 300% time lapse, so there are no stutters. :D

I have an offer: we can build the houses, then export them as. We format, post them here and you can then paste them. So everyone helps with building and it goes faster.

I you use the map in the old forum post, you can see, if the house has the right size to fit Königsdorf... :)

I'm going to try to build a pretty building but right now I'm still fighting in blender with some textures that don't want to be in place. Can I use more mods or just those that are already inside?

There are no mods inside. For the Karsthafen-map only with a vanilla Minetest build Houses are accepted.

The map should be without mods. Only WorldEdit is acceptable. ;)
