A blue bed two blocks long that changes the time to dawn when all players are in bed.
I changed the inventory images to the bed without shadows.
NOTE: You have to bed standing on the bed to change to daylight.

Nice!
But you should make a different Bed Texture for the Inventory

BTW: Should I move this to Mod Releases?

I can't get this to work; I copied the folder to my /mods directory and try making one but nothing happens. I am running 0.4 dev 20120320

are you connecting to a server?
open debug.txt, it should be next to the minetest executable and find [LUA ERROR] or [beds] and send me the text.

wow this is way cooler than i thought:D sets time and its two block. but it should be a punch activate time set. and also i found a bug. if you put it in a hole with just one block it says server error not enough room then just takes the bed.
edit: ok sorry it is punch activated

This works but it takes a while when you go to bed and wake up, which takes about 1 minute.

noted added. Change the directory you are facing to change the direction of the bed. it is always one block in front of you and one to the left. Nevermind I see, if you change the way you are facing it puts one on the right instead.
