When will this work you have unlimited blocks not, just stack for build a world?

I rather wont go that way. Im using creative to test surrival mods. So i do need default behaviour of all.
On the other hand gettin another stack is quite easy.

I've got some problems... When I click on the next page button on the graft guide of the inventory it shows me the page next the next... So I'm not able to view the even pages...

maybe u have this mod twice in the mod folder...
then the next button show u the wrong page number...

Another cause may be:

In post 1 is a line telling to:

Go to /games/minetest_game/mods and delete /creative folder from there.

I have a few small problems with this mod. I use the 2/20 4d1 minetest build on Windows 7

1. to exit inventory, I need to hit esc (not a big issue, but different than expected)

2. This is more annoying: the craft guide part doesn't show recipes of basic items like tools, furniture (I have 3Dforniture mod), fence etc. It does show some recipes like lasso, travelnet, etc.

Note: I find the sethome button very handy!

I really like how this inventory system is setup.

  • Bags to extend the inventory or to setup groups of materials (ie: this bag is for landscaping, this bag for roads and bridges, that bag for houses, and the other bag for making contraptions)
  • A crafting guide (a big help with so many mods and recipes to remember)
  • A search function (another helpful feature for those of us who use lots mods)

All this inventory goodness but I'm not having much luck with this mod at the moment in MT v0.4.6

I've tried the stand-alone version and the version in the Technic bundle... still not working.

Will the stand-alone version and this thread be maintained or will everything move over to the Technic thread?

I assume the crafting guide is still being worked on, as RBA stated.

When I click on the buttons for bags, the inventory below doesn't change (move to an empty bag).

I tried removing "creative" from the list in game.conf... still not working. Do I have to remove the "creative" folder from "common"?

Thanks for a much needed mod!

I have the same problem as LazyJ. Now in Minetest 0.4.6 there is a "common" folder in the /usr/share/minetest/games/ folder which contains the "creative" mod folder. If I remove the "creative" mod folder from the "common" folder then the game will not start. It gives the error "required creative mod not found". All of the default mods are now contained in the "common" folder. Can this be fixed by a simple edit to the inti.lua script inside the "unified_inventory" mod folder? Or is there a patch we can put in for this error? Also is there a way we can make this integrate with cornernote's Inventory_plus mod since some mods rely on cornernote's as a dependecy? It's nice to have the players armor options that Inventory_plus offers. However I cannot due without the misc. function of Unified Inventory.

Thanks for an awesome mod RealBadAngel. Let's make this work so it will be added as part of the default game.

UI is waiting in line to get it fixed due to latest changes. Version that comes with technic (i think it will be only maintained one btw) already can work with creative without need to delete it.
Also some time ago i made Lua function to get all possible craft recipes, so hook wont be needed anymore. But this require some more work.
Atm im rebuilding technic and its basic components, hard work really. Mod has grown so much that i had to stop adding new content and bring some order there first. When im done with it i will start adding new features and fixin known problems.

I like the inventory overhaul, except for the 99 set instead of endless 1. It really messes up when I play on creative (which is a lot). I always use the latest stable from the website BTW.

Use the default creative mod for endless. Or look at the cities game which has a modified creative mod that works with Unified Inventory.

For RealTest Revamped, pressing 'Enter' by mistake (Or on purpose) will revert to the default creative inventory. In some cases the game does not load at all while the below file is present.

Fix: Comment out the dofile for creative.lua from init.lua in the 'core' folder in the game directory

EDIT: See the topic for said game. It is a problem on the custom_game side because the inventory size is 2x2.

I have a serious issues getting this to work.
I created a world and turned ON creative mode.
The creative kind of inv is very useful with home buttons and time sets.

Heres my issues though.

I turn creative mod OFF before loading the world.
I still get a kind of creative inv but...
#1. The set time buttons are no longer there.
#2. The trash and refill spaces have no names nor do they work.
#3. It won't let me click the item and get a stack anymore.
It tells me the craft recipe.

I don't want normal player behavior.
I want a FULL creative mode with the above abilities WITHOUT having to turn on creative mode for the entire world.
I don't want any other players being able to get whatever they want with a click nor being able to change the time of day.
I want these abilities to only be granted to me as an admin and be able to grant them to any players I designate as mods.

Sorry, this topic wasnt updated for ages, since UI was part of technic. Now its aviable again as standalone mod.

I have this working and I love it.

What I want to know is, is there a way to disable the "clear inventory" button? I have a young son who will be devastated if he deletes all his stuff and he's inclined to click buttons indiscriminately!

markbe: this button is disabled outside creative mode to prevent those kind of accidents... you have to use the trash slot to trash your inventory in survival mode.

That's it then ... for some reason, even if I set creative mode to "off" it is actually on ... Where would I post that problem? (Version 0.4.8)
