- Make sure Java is installed(you know, this smoking coffee cup symbol)
- Download the .zip
- Unpack the .zip and copy the .jar file in any directory
- Double-click to execute. If this doesn't work, try with "Open with". If it still does not work, make it executable (chmod + x in Unix)
- Create an image containing transparent parts.
- You may also create a depthmap(greyscale), but this one must have at least the dimensions as the image
- Also, you can create different images/depthmaps for both sides
- But make sure they have same dimensions
- Click the "Select Image" button
- Afterwards, you may enter a filename for where to save(note : ".obj" is appended automatically !)
- As well as you may choose a directory to save in
- Then, click the "Create OBJ" button and enjoy your model !
The application itself is licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0
If you create 3d models with it, their licensing is up to you.
