hi buckaroo thanks for the replay, i use windows 10. in the firewall i give mintest app and browser app acess. in the firwall i activate the port 8080. the result is the same, the Error ocurs and the map is not loading in the browser site http://127.0.0.1:8080. what can i do more? best regards Pikulla

Did you test this with another application too that uses/exposes a web-interface locally?

hi buckaroo, i did look for the console output, but can not find any in the inventory or somewher alls, where i can find it. i did not test this with another application too, bcoze i dont need it until now. best regards Pikulla

hi nitro, i did change the mapserver folder with yours what i download from the adress. anyway i have the same error and map is not loaded on my browser. thanks for help, best regards Pikulla.

hi together, i did check some steps and see that the error starts when i aktivate the mapserver mod, could there some parameter what i have to modify? can i run the mapserver in single mod or i have to host my world as server? if i have to run the world as server, what port i have to use 8080 or 30000? in case i have to host the world, must i make the hosted world as public server? thanks in advance for youre reply. best regards Pikulla

hi festus, i can not find any cmd console in my mt 5.0.0. where it should be installed and where i can find the cmd console to download it, (in the mods i can not find any). is there some parameter what i have later to set correct so. best regards Pikulla.

hi together, finally i could run the map in the browser. i can see all of my world. i have only one error left when the mapserver is runing, here the message:

Can it be builded using make? Because I got OpenBSD VPS where i host mt publicly on and that not has go or sth like that.

So it works, but it completly ruined my world today...
After a while of me riding trains, the server stopped reacting and logs spammed:
I had to kill -9 to be able to stop the server and with that it also stopped mapserver for some reason so I think it had to do with mapserver
UPDATE: Oh wait thats what the notice was about on the releases. But yeah because I had to build, I still use the latest version (just from source)

One mod update or new mod on my server prevents starting the mapserver on my Raspberry pi server. I don't now witch. Minetest Server is 5.4.
