BlockColor is a creative sandbox game with 8 colors - the limit is Your Imagination.

BlockColor Engine is a fork of Multicraft with the game Minetest "BlockColor".

The purpose of this fork is to have a total control of the code (deletion, modification and additions), to propose an independent version of Minetest, and to adapt the engine to the needs of the project. This version may be different from that proposed in the CDB.

  • blockcolor/files is used for all files identical to all planets. (Games = Planets)
  • while the different files for the planets will be in blockcolor/games/files

Example, if the mapgen.lua is different, just put each mapgen.lua in the blockcolor/ games/files/nomdumod/mapgen.lua (do not put it in blockcolor/files/). And if I need to edit an identical file for all games, I just have to edit it in blockcolor/files.

Todo:

  • Modify the SkyBox for Planets Earth, Mars and Moon
  • Modify Gravity and Jump according to the Planet
  • Change the appearance of the skin
  • Change the Apperence of the Hand

Ps : This avoids duplicating mods that would be identical for all games and therefore can easily be modified in / files and for mods that would be different from modify them in / games / files /.

I have add Gravity and Skybox

Mars — 3,711 m/s² : player:set_physics_override(1, 1, 0.3784031814)
Moon — 1,620 m/s² : player:set_physics_override(1, 1, 0.16518813092)
Earth — 9,807 m/s² : player:set_physics_override(1, 1, 1)

I customized the hand for the planets, I think to do the same for the skin.

So it's fork from Multicraft, not Minetest 5.0.x ?

Yes. This is compatible for the moment with Multicraft and Minetest 0.4.

Hello,

I added the fact of being able to combine them or not, the same blocks that can be "combo" are in the menu "Combo Nodes".

I have add stair left and right, this is not finish. I i think see to modify the model to create another for cosmonaut model.

I would look to update the CDB version with buses and "No-ComboBlocks".

I do not think to add the planets for the version CDB, they would be necessary that I duplicate 3 times the same game.
