A gift from me for the new year, also in part as a follow up to ShadMOrdre asking me about another kart like this (that I couldn't locate). Made for SuperTuxKart, mostly staying true to the blocky appearance of Minetest, with a few things not actually blocky in appearance. Details about this kart follow below:

That is awesome, WorldBlender! The execution is cleverer than I would have anticipated. Especially the details on the car.

But the furnace image looks a bit blurry.
Also, is it just me or is the cart floating?

Every texture used in STK always has some interpolation applied, no matter the size. This makes small textures look worse unless they are upscaled first. I already did this with the character skin to width 512px. It's not possible to disable texture interpolation anywhere in the game.

You're using the fixed / legacy pipeline, and I also did the kart shadow to only cover the vehicle, and not the wheels, since they are actually disjointed from it. If I did the shadow to include them, it would look weird. This will all look better if you can use the advanced pipeline, which does shadows much better.

Super Tux CArt is made also in lua. This mean this should be work!

SuperTuxKart does not use Lua at all, but it does use AngelScript for scripting in tracks. Minetest mods cannot be used as-is over there at all.

Damn, I'm not familiar with Super Tux CArt, but that's because it isn't that well-known. Maybe I can consider making a port of this kart for that game, but it's not too likely (I shifted more of my focus to more mainstream but proprietary video games, that's why).
