Thanks.
Ahh
The Api gave me 1348 files but the previews are more than 1500.
Why?
Edit: Which /5 /1 is used in minetest? Ah found it 1

The previews still contain the duplicates and the deleted ones (to avoid 404 errors) you should only load the previews that are inside the list.
Btw: if you want to write a mod that downloads the skins you may use this one instead: https://github.com/minetest-mods/skinsdb

Hey addi,

I miss the 3d view from the skin on your site online, please add the x3dom javascript code to the site (it is in the resource) or solve the problem in an other way.

Hey addi,

I saw that the 3d view now does work, but the editor.html doesn't work.
So if you will look at it for me, because I need it.

The model disappears if I scroll on the touchpad.

I also use a touchpad and have no issue, but there is a issue with some skins that the head have no texture in the 3d view.

I'm having trouble searching by license. For example, entering CC BY lists skins with license CC BY, CC BY-SA, CC BY-SA-NC and so on.

Since the number of licenses that can be entered is limited, couldn't the license edit box in the search form be turned into a combobox, and search by equal?

Odd. I havn't changed anything in the last year. The editor is fixed now.

I had the problem with the touchpad too, but its solved now. just had to update to a newer version of x3dom. There is now a 2nd scrollbar, but i couldnt figure out what causes it yet.

Thanks for your suggestion, I think ill implement it, once i have some time.

I have noticed some pixel problems with the 3D view.
Firstly, Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing is enabled. The 3D view should show the skins as similar as possible to how they are displayed in Minetest, and MSAA is experimental in Minetest.
The visible hair stripe and hole are probably the same MSAA problem as in Minetest: https://github.com/minetest/minetest/pull/9247

MSAA, smooth scaling:
Image

When I disable MSAA in my browser settings, there's still blur from the browser scaling, which does not happen in Minetest.

No MSAA, smooth scaling:
Image

This second problem can be fixed by setting the image-rendering canvas style:
https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam2016/topic ... or-no-blur
(here's another link about nearest neighbour scaling: http://vaughnroyko.com/state-of-nearest ... in-canvas/)

No MSAA, nearest neighbour interpolation:
Image

To create the pictures (the last one to be precise), in firefox I have set "webgl.msaa-samples" to 0 in about:config and added the "image-rendering: -moz-crisp-edges;" to the canvas with the developer tools, and then I've taken screenshots and upscaled them without interpolation in GIMP. I have a relatively high DPI screen, so I've set layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to 1.5 in about:config.

I think I found a (dirty?) way to disable aa within the x3dom renderer. And applied the crisp changes. Could you test if it works?
