Yes it's supposed to be Steve. However, I'm having this issue where the hands are blue. In a minute I'll upload the skin for you to edit.

Mycraft is a rather good name. Maybe a little too good too be safe, though.

I spent a couple of hours looking thru the older texture pack topics
and there are quite a few really nice ones that have gone 404

Copycraft wins! In my update next week I will rename it.
NOTICE: Do NOT play survival mode; the crafting area's drop zones are offset from the squares, plus you can't craft Workbenches (or so it seems)
EDIT 1: Im thinking about drastically psring down Clonecraft Classic and replacing Fire with Fake Fire. Thoughts?

I'm Going to add the Fire Braziers mod.
BTW Just incase you get surprised I scaled down because I don't like high detailed textures, plus the game is supposed to be lightweight.

However II'm nsure how cracked block textures work so I'm not sure how to implement them.

You have to have a mod which has a file called “crack_anylength.png” in its textures folder. The image is a series of images, vertically. See the default mod of minetest_game for an example. I guess Carbone should also serve as an example.
I don’t know exactly how it works, but I guess I gave you enough information to help you figure out the rest.

To use it, rename it to overlay.png, remove the old background.png. This image uses transparency so you have the default animated clouds in the background. Also the nasty Minetest text at the top left corner of the image has been removed.

Edit: Clonecraft is lacking a texture: “default_desert_stone.png”.

Edit 2: Clonecraft Classic as well. Clonecraft Classic’s mod “dryplants” is also complaining about the fact that the mod “farming” is not present.

Yes, the game is operable but slow on my lame-ass laptop. I should use my gaming computer. XD
I am using GNU/Linux. I doubt my OS is of any relevance here.

The error messages are just printed in chat right after starting the game. It is not critical. Still these are error messages and should not be ignored, it makes the subgame look unprofessional.

It seems you have simply messed up while creating the Zip file.
I have checked the folder of Clonecraft Classic and there is no farming mod present.
And in Clonecraft/mods/default/textures, there is no file “default_desert_stone.png” present. It was simply not present in the package.

So it has nothing to with my OS, simply check the dependencies, add the missing files and re-package everything again.

Okay, I have updated Clonecraft to Version 0.7 and Classic to version 2.1. Please let me know of any bugs, as I am really getting to busy to debug it. Hopefully when school time s over I will be able to update it much faster. In the mean time, don't be shy to make a fork and post it in this forum!

The craft recipe checker is an awesome tool! It is a tool to check the validity of crafting recipes. A crafting recipe can very easily go wrong and it is hard to find these mistakes without this tool.

I have used this tool and the tool mentions a lot of recipe errors in Clonecraft Classic:

Most of this messages are there because some item isn’t there, i.e. there are no dyes, no vessels, there is no sugar, and so on.

Edit: The first recipe error messages (those with the comma in the itemstring, like “group:dye,basecolor_grey”) are probably false-positives by the craft recipe checker. I suggest you ignore those first messages for now.

You can fix this by either adding the missing items or remove the crafting recipes that cause the warnings.

Clonecraft had no recipe errors. Good job!



Some warnings in the console I found for Clonecraft Classic, I don’t know if these are serious (player model looks OK to me):

'kay, i dont know bout the animtickspersecond but I there are some SERIOUS bugs in the Crafting mod, I will probably have to revert to default for a while.
It could be possible that you are using an old world for the news version of Clonecraft Classic. I knew I was trying to pare it down to make it even more lightweight. Try a new world and see if there are the same recipe errors but I still think Crafting may be the culprit, looking for mods that contain objects that Crafting has recipes for but I haven't installed.
Sorry for the slow updates ive been busy. I didnt even get to test the version I released today lol. I need to get a normal life...;P

Oh, don’t worry. Crafting recipe mistakes are not that serious, but still should be fixed. Most recipes are OK, but they aren’t reported of course. ;). You don’t need to revert to deault.
Just check the recipes one-by-one and decide wheather you want to fix the recipe or delete it.


No, I did not use an old world, I used a brand new world. Actually, what kind of world I use has no influence on the validity of crafting recipes.

Okay. Now if I remove these recipes, the mods they go to will still have the recipe with it so you can still craft em, right? Just in case anybody adds those mods.
Also for some reason when you want to craft something in Survival mode the place where you put the objects you're crafting isn't where the boxes are. Anybody who knows Lua wil be very appreciated if you can fix the bug. I myself am far too busy to learn Lua right now. (sorry!)

If you remove the recipes, you can’t craft the item in question anymore. There may or may not be still other recipes left. And if all fails, there is always creative mode.
