gravel : should give any kind of minerals, with a high rarity factor
sand : gold ore, sandstone?
dirt : gold ore, cobble, lianas (rare)

Maybe should they drop very rarely any kind of tools, of any quality ?
It would make it funny and be another add for the classic rpg randomization use ;).

Also, I think you should add uses for lianas, but I haven't though to what (potions ? glue ? enchantment ?)

I really like your ideas, it's becoming a great subgame :D

I've already download this a few days ago. I played it for first time and I saw a green text. When I went to it, nothing was there. I realize that it just points to (0, 0, 0). Also, when I put "quest" block, I get error. So, there's still no story?

I'm waiting until it gets better. :D

1. The green text is just testing.
2. Could you send me the error msg when you put down a quest block?
3. There is no story yet, I still need to create other things before I can add the story :)

Blueprints are meant to make the crafting for special/technical items more interesting.
I also repainted the stone texture, it looks nice now :)

Today, I decided to recreate the village mod. The lua mapgen code was very slow and it was hard to create nice villages.
In the new version, I will use schematics, so I can build every house with much detail!

Today, I added iron/copper/gold blocks and steel frames.
I also added a way to get blueprints - if you right click with an empty blueprint, you will get a random blueprint!

Small list with the changes:
  • added walking/sit animation for the wolf/dog
  • added animation support to the pet api
  • changed some class specific weapons
  • updated class specific items/weapons/tools api
  • add helm
  • added README.md
I am going to work on:
  • add more cmds to the story mod
  • add animations to the other animals
  • improve villages mod

I am working on the story now!
You can try it out. Just spawn a village in creative (the block with the GEN... text) and type /restart_story
Its very WIP, yet, but if you want to help me just create some pull requests :)

The story scripting lang has more cmds now!
You can use
Code: Select all
$place at <place>
$place near <place>

to set the position of the character, now! $place near will place the character at a random place max. 5 blocks near the place!

I also added the cmd
Code: Select all
$next rnd <1> <2> <3>
it will select a random part (<1>, <2> or <3>).

Today, I repainted the gravel texture and added coal blocks.
You can craft glowing coal blocks from coal blocks and you can use them blocks instead of lava for furnaces.
There is also a new tool, the flint pick. The flint pick is a bit like the stone pick in mt.
