Today, I updated the ore generation (again) and I updated the pets mod.
You need special food to tame animals now!

  • sheep : wheat
  • wolf : fish (there is no other meat yet)
  • pig : wheat

Today, I added some tutorial quests. They explain you how to craft things, use a workbench...

Image

The tutorial also gives you some basic items like wood and grass (to craft a string).

I also added a feature, which allows a admin to create a spawn city where you do the first quests!
PS : Yesterday, I didnt post a update, because I was working on my js game engine

i saw something in the hotbar: the items are turning!!

It is available in development version (a.k.a. daily builds) of Minetest.

Today, I added blueprints for rare weapons.
To craft a rare weapon, you need its blueprint, some materials and a ruby.

I added a level system for potions :

E.g. A healing potion level 1 heals 11 hp, a healing potion level 5 15 hp.

I have a minor suggestion.
Instead of acquiring tree saplings from crafting or falling off the tree when the leaves decay. How about we change that to something more of a different process of getting tree saplings. How about a special tool of some sort (clippers, scissors, etc.) that the only ones can get saplings and has a very short use instead of crafting it or falling of the tree when the leaves decay. This gives it more of an "engaging" feel to the game.
so, yea, that's my small suggestion :)

Thats a good idea :)
I think leaves should drop saplings, but not so much than normally.
I will add a tool for that :)

They are not meant to be realistic.
I cant show them you in a screen shot, so just download the game :)

The village size is now limited to 3 - so villages cant crash the server.

Today, I added a new tool, the chisel:

You can use the chisel to turn blocks into stairs/slabs.
Rightclick a block to rotate it, punch a block to turn it into a slab/stair.

What is it useful for?chiseling blocks?crafting funny structures?
