just another update, Finally you can change and buy skins, the 2 first are free, just because the first is default. and not everyone is comfortable as a guy.

More skins is planned.

Honestly i am amazed how much you add to this game.

Short note: Your repo says it is compatible with MT 3.4. :)

thanks :) I have a lot of free time, and cant stop my self from testing things.

& fixed... i may have changed that number some time while changing the xe version.

by the way, i collected & 56 skins & characters i made for other mods.
So now there is totaly 60 skins

and an update for the space stuff. (new spacesuit-style idea from viewtopic.php?t=23455)

To solve the players skins/armor/spacesuit conflicts i added a simple layer system that adds textures to tables in a table

{tablelayer1, tablelayer2, tablelayer3...}
and merge all those to one skin

Time to explore the map again, added cracks (not finished yet) to add some more action i hope.

The cracks can be everywhere, but should we keep this?

Is sand good enough as bottom or should there be grass?

:D I generally get a lot of cracks anyway, but those look epic. Sand seems fine. Cracks seems good too, unless there are just way too many everywhere.

i think we keep this, there should be less of them.
What the bottom will be depends on what the mapgen finds while digging down (grass, snow, sand and spikes)

If someone wonder, this cracks are made of edges of generated noice/blobs.
its kinda hard to control them because the more we spreading them, the bigger those become, then trying to make them slaller makes them look weird with samll islands inside.

HI everyone. I noticed you have a currency in this game

I am intereted in finacne. I want to buy some futures on the value of this currency . I think it will be important . I want to trade futures on items. this could be a mod or an informal tradition within the server

Is your idea to change the value of the store items, or more about "value papers", or both?

to change the value of the store are easy, i dont think its an idea to change for the skins.
the more people buy, the more expensive / and the opposite.
i guess the most people plays the game by alone, so i think it also needs a random contributing force.

i think the value of the papers could rise as long the price of items is more then default, and the opposite.

did you mean something like this?

due all the 100+ error messages i set "use_texture_alpha = true" for lots of blocks

.. has transparency, assuming use_texture_alpha = true.
This warning can be a false-positive if unused pixels in the texture are transparent.
However if it is meant to be transparent, you *MUST* update the nodedef and set use_texture_alpha = true!
This compatibility code will be removed in a few releases.


1 day later i tryed "5.4.0 release candidate 1" now it says
Boolean values (true/false) are deprecated; use new choices ("opaque", "clip" or "blend").
and now there is 340+ errors messages.

don't be confused if you see weird transparent things...
i also changed the color palete image/texture to skip that message, this changes colors of some things.

could you use the functions to id monsters ? show an image with the name and description . strength , speed and abilities etc . rpg style
prehaps create some rare monsters which differ slightly that we can capture or prehaps take a photograph of as a quest ?

backflip, frontflip, sideflip (right/left). roll, and dive roll is just added.
Now this need to be tested, see the controls at https://github.com/AiTechEye/xaenvironment or in the inventory (? icon)

Sadly everyone but i have to quit moding complitly.
For some reason modding causing some kind of stress that i cant handle (tried to fix that for a long time).
So the (v10) will be the last release of this game.

There could be special cases i adding something, and it would be if special features where added to minetest noone would like to miss :)
But otherwise no more modding for me.

sorry ywwv but i will not add the feature as expected. due this

It is understandable. Working on large projects like these cause burnout and are stressful, even if you're passionate about them.

I hope you are able to enjoy your recovery and hopefully you can find something that is less stressful and doesn't burn you too hard.

not burnout, but hyper fokus, it tends to start whether Im playing games or coding.
The hyper focus disallows me from relaxing then you can count out what happens.

Pretty soon i have my own sideflip ready.
The sideflip animation is however unrelastic, cuz you flips over your back, but it looks better in the game.

yes indeed like that , spot on . Have been exploring the game using 5.4 . had a lot of fun and got totally immersed , dispite the constant crashes .

for some reason the memory craches are a typical mt-dev phenomenon, it usally ends in mt stabile releses, and yeah, it is extremely annoying

you right clicks with the hoe on dirt/grass, make sure there is water 7 blocks away or nearer.
added to the manual...


the game have a high modding capacity, very litle code can generate lots of things, try it :)

not annoying enough to stop play though . shows you how much i was getting into it . good to know its typical .
can only hoe when ground is saturated and not before .got it .
Loads of code has already been generated by the community . one thing we are not short on is content a great deal of it has not been showcased in any games .
I am a gamer not a coder . gave that up with the Sinclair zx81 . i just cobble mods together and tinker round to customize to my preferences . not keen on this code-ish its kinda messy to follow .
