...wait, you didn't do all those things in one day, did you? DID YOU?rubenwardy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 03:02Very productive day today! I went through and fixed the majority of the bugs on the issue tracker. I also added quite a few features (and so more bugs)
The review system is spot on, chapeau! Tho, I could easily boost some package as it gives 100 points per review. Maybe it's too much..? My texture pack was the fourth to last and with just 2 reviews is now penultimate. I mean, I'm not complaining :D, but if I ask a couple friends to review something for me (as Giov4 did, WITHOUT ASKING HIM), I can easily reach the first spot

Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
Yes, that was one day. But I did implement the reviews the day before
I'm planning on letting people vote on reviews as "helpful" or "unhelpful", which will vary the points you get from a review. The base number of points will drop a lot
100 points isn't that much for a mod, but is for a game or a texture pack. I wonder how to normalise for that

Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
ContentDB now supports content warnings. This means that more mature content, such as those relating to drugs, can be added to ContentDB but hidden in the Android client. By default, no content warnings are hidden in the desktop version. For more information, see: https://content.minetest.net/help/content_flags/
ContentDB also shows a tag filter list in searches on its web UI, descriptions have been added to tags and warnings, and a number of pages have been redesigned.

Wait, how do I know if I am installing Adult Content or not on the Desktop or through the Content DB website?rubenwardy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 21:29ContentDB now supports content warnings. For instance for a public server I don't wanna be installing too questionable stuffs on that...

rubenwardy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 22:25Adult content as in NSFW is strictly prohibited. Mature content, such as drugs, horror, or violence, should be obvious by the title.
Violence includes stuff like shooter, advanced weapons, and capture the flag.
Horror is only the IKEA game so far.
Drugs include Drug Wars and Hemp
Ah got you, thanks for assuring me that outright NSFW contents are still prohibited at all costs. As well for helping me understand of the rest of what said. :)

Hosting NSFW stuff would compromise my hosting, so I couldn't do it even if I wanted to

Honestly it's not worth it for something like this due to the all of the administrative challenges involved like the one you mentioned. Way too much drama than it's worth.

With regards to bloodmagic 2:
I intend to rework the mod into a living machine/wetware tech mod (think Scorn). Naturally this falls under the category of gore, but I'm not sure if it can realistically be called horror, since the player is the one doing these things.

ooh, I just noticed the recently updated section. Seems like a great Idea as it shows users what packages are being maintained.

Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
Just because a mod is not updated very often it does not automatically mean that it is not maintained. Maybe it just does not need any updates to function properly.
A “last updated” category is worthless when it comes to check “maintained mods”.

Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
Agreed, some "gems" I found for my server are literally half a decade old and still works as intended.
Though a good number of mods still need to be maintained, changed and so on.
Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
How can I remove my own stuff again from ContentDB ?
There should be a button in menu when I click, it is deleted from database.
Maybe after security check, typing login password again.

I have deleted your packages from ContentDB. I intend to allow authors to remove their own packages soon
Re: Content database for in-menu installer - add your things!
lol, I did not ask to remove them. Just add a way I can remove them. But thank you.
My things are pretty unimportant anyway.

Any progress yet in this ? That should not be difficult to code. Maybe a security check like onrubenwardy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 16:19I intend to allow authors to remove their own packages soon
github would be nice, where you have to rewrite the name of the repository before it got deleted.

Every .zip file upload I attempt results in "Task Failed" for some reason. So I can't create a release.

What does "Unapproved ____" mean? In my notifications two of my submissions were listed this way. But I see no explanation.
