It's always been available as an unstable build.
Stable release tomorrow? Not likely. There are still 7 items left on the roadmap, at least 2 of which are probably non-trivial.
Oh :-(

Wuzzy wrote:Lol, when will you core devs learn that you should never promise a fixed release date (not even vaguely)? xD
Just say “it's done when it's done” (or nothing at all), it's so much simpler! :P
We never promised a date, just said a rough target date.
We expect a Minetest release on the 2nd or 3rd Februrary if the Github milestone is cleared.

Nrz never specified it would be an RC. Well played, rubenwardy, well played! XD

A release candidate does not qualify as a release in my opinion. The date was actually changed at least two times.

erm, well if you could answer how many mods exist and give a lot of time to a dedicatet team of testers maybe there just might be a possible answer.
maybe simply list the mods important to you and ask for people to test and post results, might work best if you volanteer with a head start of some testing ...
Astrobe wrote:Now that RC1 is out and a few servers are already running it (or even older dev versions), maybe it would be worth starting a status thread for mods?
