Re: Minetest 5.0 release candidate 2 (5.0.0-rc2)
Please don't forget to update the Website. It is kind of outdated and therefor does not reflect the big changes and progress made in Version 5.0.0.
Edit: removed a thing.

Also, there is a serious bug with the creative inventory!!!
When we take an item from the creative inventory and place it in the player inventory by replacing an item placed present in the player inventory ,then chosen item is placed in that slot(as expected),but the player gets unplaced stack of the placed item with count equal to the stack count of the replaced item.
This is even true for tools.

It is a feature, which paramat removed it, since they are good enough.Honeypot wrote:Also, there is a serious bug with the creative inventory!!!

How can it be a feature when even stacking of tools is not possible in player inventory (it even sounds ridiculous,IMHO)?

Re: Minetest 5.0 release candidate 2 (5.0.0-rc2)
Hope the bug gets removed in the final release, cause it seemed a serious as well as silly one to me.
Re: Minetest 5.0 release candidate 2 (5.0.0-rc2)

I am fed of release discussions ... but I think I understand his joke.jas wrote:There is no final release.
As long human exist and some one change code and is able to have electric, internet and so,
there might be another new release,
but when human is gone ... than that was the final release, haha
Human has no future (climate change)

Well, it then was the last release. If it was the final release we'll never know.Festus1965 wrote:but when human is gone ... than that was the final release, haha
