Re: Minetest 5.0.0
Just asking, cuz I can't find it anywhere... Is MT 5.0.0 available on ubuntu 18.04 or you have to get 19.10?

Same as usual: It's done when it's done. Same as years ago in Minetest development, there are no definitive release dates even though they're defined months in advance (see 5.0.0 release).runs wrote:5.1 release date?

Oh, what a pity, I'd like it to be known, people like to try new features.Krock wrote:Same as usual: It's done when it's done. Re: Minetest 5.0.1
That's not a problem. Just get an in-development version to enjoy new stuff shortly after they're added. Or compile Minetest yourself.runs wrote:Oh, what a pity, I'd like it to be known, people like to try new features.

Re: Minetest 5.0.1
This is not a bug that was a long-needed default configuration change.
Before that the "first" user on a server (the user who started the server or the user whose name is in the minetest.conf file - the administrator of the server) had all permissions and those permissions weren't revocable causing massive gmaeplay issues and inconvenience (two accounts needed fr admin and normal playing)
Now the user does not have all permissions and can play like a normal player.
