Nevermind onpon4, at least you are getting the feature you want.

Also, who the zwiz uses RSS?!
Me. :P

People not using feeds don't know what they're missing. Ever since I started using them, the time I've saved has been tremendous, and I'm able to follow more sites.

I'd love to have a program that gathers all those forum news and makes them available as news which could be read by a program like tin (of course images won't work well). THAT would safe time. And annoying clicks.

The forum is now converted to phpBB with a theme by BlockMen.

Well, I don't like this theme, mainly because the posts overlap the posters' name and information on the left side, the header is messed up, and much more. Can you ask BlockMen to fix it, please?

All the links are broken. I am not happy. It was promised that the links would stay the same on IRC.

The broken links are a serious problem. All my bookmarks to mods and other relevant topics now no longer work :-(

I really hope that gets added soon.

We should just switch back to the old software. Everything was fine until this big change.

Now that we have been switched, I think this is just epic =D

Now I only need to find my place around here....

Whoa dude. The white.... and stuff. And all new not-colors. /me is confuzzled again.

Guess I better double check to find my place in this new forum order.

I for one, fully welcome our new PHP overlords!

[Edit] Hang on! Hang the !#^@ on! What is the point with the usergroups and the friends and foes thing? Is that necessary? If so, how the heck does it work? I gave the friends thing a go, but what's the point?

Progressing forward is a good thing.

Broken links, eh... not so good.

Like Sokomine, I have a lot bookmarked forum posts and topics that are now non-functional. This also means that all links that reference the forums and promote Minetest out there on the web are also broken.

This is just the first day or so of a work-in-progress; bound to be some bugs and glitches. ;)

I think the new theme is nice and simple. A little bit a green taste would do though.

It would be nice if you were allowed more than 5 links in the signature.

Do I have a signature? I can't see one on the post by me above.

You have to set it to show by default:

problem:
"View active topics"
do not work

I've noticed that some people's replies (mostly those from when the old forum software was used) have blank titles and replies to those are being titled just "Re:", which makes it difficult to tell what topic they're in from a feed reader. Looks like an artifact from the transition. I don't suppose there's anything that can be done about this in software, is there (like, renaming all of the ones titled "" or "Re:" with whatever the default title would be)? It would be great if there is because the problem proliferates every time someone hits the "quote" button rather than the "post reply" button.

If there isn't a way to solve this in software, maybe the "quote" button should be disabled (if that's possible, I don't know if it is) for a couple months so the forum gets filled up with normally-titled posts?

I want the active topics page back too.

Also, better visual distinction between sticky and normal topics please, as it was in the old forum software.

I also miss the old green and brown theme, but I don't mind the new software

In any case I like the overall style of the new forum;I find it very clear and readable.
If I may suggest ...
-I would make a little darker the decoration of the stone along the sides to put a bit 'more evident
-I would make clearer the distinction between the sticky and the normal topic

+ There now is a "mark forums read" button.
- I don't see where you can jump to the last unread posts.
- It is not as clear as it used to be. It is hard to get an overview.
- When you disable images you can not see which threads are unread/read. Almost all buttons are invisible (e.g. quote and edit).
- The icons indicating the tread status are much bigger than a normal font. This looks ugly and causes the three points of critic above.
- ...

It is mostly style issues, meaning the can easily be fixed within the current software.

(I also don't like the fast reply, as this encourages a more chat like discussion and less longer thought of posts.)
