Hello everybody.
I found Minetest some months ago, looking for a Minecraft-like game that is free and open-source. I already had some experience with Lua, so Minetest looked good for me. After stealing together some mods and experiencing the game, I started writing on my own mods. Actually I am almost done with an advanced area management system to prevent players not only to build in specific areas but to enter them and take items out of inventories. I will post it as soon as it is in a presentable state.
Please excuse me if i am appearing unprofessional, i am new to open source communities.
Expect me to post some mods in the future.

Re: Hi there
Hello.
Stealing mods and looking into the code is the fastest way to get useful examples for your own mods.
I hope you will release the area management system soon, so we can test it.
Don't worry about appearing unprofessional, the post is well written :)
