wayland
this might be a duplicated topic but it would be nice to see minetest support wayland
Re: wayland
Are you referring to the display architecture?
Many of my mods are now a part of Minetest-mods. A place where you know they are maintained!

http://wayland.freedesktop.org/ if that is what you are refering to then yesDon wrote:Are you referring to the display architecture?
Re: wayland
You should ask that to Irrlicht instead.
Re: wayland
That Irrlicht doesn't support Wayland wasn't so bad, if it only did work under wayland.
Under the XWaxland compatibility layer, I always end up turning around – I think that the cursor doesn't get reset into the mid of the window. But probably that's not Minetest's or Irrlicht's fault.

Re: wayland
Also Wayland is far from being ready to dispatch, it has too much unstability and the only DEs that support it currently are KDE and Gnome 3. XWayland underperforms compared to X11.
Wayland in Minetest is not even a dream at this step.
