carbone-ng problems

by jokra » Post

Hi there...

I'm on Ubunut 14.04 with a packet manager install, that I try to change by copying directories from /usr/share/minetest/ to /root/.minetest/

I added carbone-ng, and when I run this:

minetest --server --gameid carbone-ng --world world --config /root/.minetest/games/carbone-ng/minetest.conf

I get this:

root@mine:~/.minetest/games/carbone-ng# minetest --server --gameid carbone-ng --world world --config /root/.minetest/games/carbone-ng/minetest.conf

Don't copy everything, MT will automaticly create the folders it needs in .minetest. Also, install 0.4.13 from the Ubuntu PPA, the official repos are WAY outdated.
