[IDEA] Forum app

I was not sure where to put this.

I normally have weird thoughts along the day, as many of us do, but today when I went to check the Minetest Forums on my phone I realized the community either need a mobile friendly webpage or an app. So this is me suggesting to someone who can.
Please feel free to comment thoughts, feelings and suggestions about this here.

There are some responsive phpBB themes like ComBoot out there, but it needs to be installed on the server.

One forum I'm on has a REALLY nice mobile site, you can compare them: http://mobileread.com and the mobile: http://mobileread.mobi
I don't know how the site was created, but it's very nice for mobile browsers.

The phpBB3.1.x default theme has a mobile setup, but this Forum isn't the latest phpBB. I have my phpBB Forums set to auto update mostly.

But I a working on a new site and, plan use phpBB as it forum engine.

I dislike phpBB, and with the new minetest.net design, discourse is better as a forum in my point of view

I think we really need a mobile-compatibly theme and i posted this sometime in history already.
If somebody really wants a forum-app we could use a modified version of Mbrowser (https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/? ... m.mbrowser)which shows a mobile the of the minetest forums. This app would be good for a faster acces on your mobile phone and a desktop-notification when new PMs arrive could inclouded simpler (As we now for example on freenode webchat irc)
