Ew I'm not sure those slopes look nice. Nowdays I tend to avoid using slopes at all on my builds. Aside from that, +1 :)

I think the slopes work well in this context. Taking good screenshots is more difficult, but if you walk around inside the house, the shapes do play out well IMHO. The big drawback of all those slopes is that building takes far more time even when using the replacer. And the entire villa did end up a bit too modern, big and..cold...in parts, at least for my taste. It's just too big. Smaller homes are more cozy.

And I'm still looking for a window cleaner who might take care of all those glass panes.

yep. in my youth (3 years ago), i destroyed an entire minetest server. i won't remenber which one. i built towers of mese with lava and water and built weird planes with torches everywhere on the other's building. i now feel very sorry, as, i don't really had the chance to repair my errors since the server is down. (for my defense, theserver was completly griefed by everyone)

I griefed myself last week. I saved a sandstone castle using world edit and of course named it sandcastle. I wanted a dark castle so I played around and then changed the blocks from sandstone to coal. I of course named it newcastle when I saved it.

Then, come on, I really had no choice, I had a castle made of coal sitting right there.
I griefed myself.

It has been suggested I should post some of the screenshots from my Self Organizing Systems modpack...

A bit of background: these mods use self replication and complexity theory to create... well... life. Literally. Some of them are intelligent. Literally...

These guys are from my Ecobots ecosystem simulation mod. They use ant-like swarm intelligence to build and maintain a nest... This whole thing was built by those little red guys.


This is from my Selfrep_Doomsday mod - essentially this is what happens if nanotech gets out of control. Uncontrolled exponential growth. The red is the doomsday weapon eating the world, above it in grey is the Grey Goo trying to swamp the world. I think the weapon is winning!
