That's not even OpenGL, it's Irrlicht's own software driver which is an absolute abomination and has these awful graphical glitches you're seeing. You'd get a better gameplay experience with software rendered OpenGL with Mesa. Oh and update Minetest, we're on 5.4.1 now.
ik its just that this is a screenshot from a pentinum pc that im not sure is able to run 5.41 besides its running a debian based os (ubuntu is technically debian based ) and when i installed minetest i got that version also its opengl 1.(whatever) and i think it might be using software too althought
i dont know how to confirm that and also im to lazy to get the ethernet cable and update it because i put the ethernet cable on my raspi server and its currently powered offline thought i migt update it eventually althought im not using it as main pc thank you for the advise

Hi. I have implemented the apple groves in The Samz. So the children will learn that eating healthy food will make them stronger and healthier.

I was under the impression that 5.5.0 was supposed to fix this render order issue?

In that case i believe the changelog is incorrect?, since it specifically mentions:
Rendering fixes: Order drawlist by distance to the camera (x2048)

Ah yes. Read carefully - in the PR it correctly points out that this is only a partial fix:
Rendering translucent meshes from farthest to closest to solve some of transparency artifacts.
(emphasis mine)

It is clear why this can't provide a "full" fix: This only operates at a meta-mapblock level. Within a mapblock mesh, still no proper depth sorting is being done. Let's hope the PR that implements this makes it into 5.6.0.

This is the final working prototype of the civil defense siren that is being installed on the JT2 server later this week. It's main purpose will be to warn of tornados in game, hence serving mostly as a tornado siren.

The mod currently features a fully-functional replica of the Thunderbolt T1000 which I modelled in Blockbench. The Thunderbolt was the most popular line of air raid sirens installed in the United States up through the end of the cold war. The remote control panel at Nemo's bunker shows the locations and current status of each siren in the system. This way faults can be detected and addressed during annual testing, which will occur every February 1 at 10:00am in-game.
