somehow that reminds me of my experiments with importing old mc maps into mt...
or of the time I spawned Sokomine's vilages underground for others to excavate.

what was the address of this place?
can I make holiday "from" corona there?

uhm, I'll take that upper room in the corner with the nice view.
and give me a sample of the recent wine please, aaah, forget it give me a bottle each of the last years .....

sigh,
reminds me of the times when I used to help harvesting wine,
ever so long ago;
those were the days -
and even better nights.

Underground lair

by SciFurz » Post

The area container mod gave me several ideas on how it could be used, like a science fiction maze, or a huge haunted house to explore and find hidden portals.

For now I'm tinkering with an independant underground lair of containers linked by travelnet boxes. If a virtual nuke drops from y=30000, I'll be secure deep underground.

One of two backbone containers with the nodes for regular use like farming, residential use, industrial workshops, etcetera.

Strange effect...
(iron grating from artdeco)

looking through "iron grating" ==> No Water
you can still see the fishes swimming :)
Image

looking over "iron grating" ==> Water (as expected)

That's an old bug caused by incorrect transparency sorting. There's a PR, #11130, to fix it.

That bug causes the water to show from 2 diff positions, and not show from the other 2
(meaning: North, South, East, West)
Will be nice to see fixed

I wanted to check out the valleys map generator, and at spawn I was greeted with this scene.

Someone made a realistic update to the animals mod?

I'm releasing mapgen_rivers v1.0 (coming on Content DB soon)

Compatible with Ethereal (via biomegen), that gives the best landscape results in my opinion.

Stumbled upon the Globe Theater on Xanadu and felt that building was made for a 360
