Just went to the website of that fork, which is right here:

They are using 0.5.0 dev as the base of it, as they state themselves. Here's to hoping that they keep it up-to-date in that particular aspect.

Why is Stonecraft an own fork instead of just another subgame ? They didn't modify the Inventory Slots or did anything else I could notice that requires having another subgame.

I noticed that with most of the same mods installed Stonecraft runs smoother than MT. There're some settings concerning biomes that cause stuttering on my laptop in Stonecraft, but generally the mods in this fork seem to be really well adjusted and as for now, playing it occassionally I didn't see many major bugs (I noticed only one that is a little annoying - sometimes trees in jungles float above the water). In previous versions there were much more serious bugs, one could for example fall into grey emptiness when the mapgen didn't generate the chunk a player was stepping on on time... brrr :|

1. It's v5a. ('african'). A few posts ago in this thread I wrote about it. viewtopic.php?p=309179#p309179

I don't have spare time for survival play or building, but sometimes while roaming across some interesting areas I come upon so much intriguing dungeon entrances that one cannot help but simply has to go down and explore it to find out that it is as empty as it should be. (Thankfully no dragons. I live in a city where fighting dragons was once a vital necessity.)
