Re: Is there a way to sort forum members by number of posts?
press the link <members> at the top right of this page
on the listing page click on the word <posts> at the top of the posts column to order by posts.
click a second time on the word <posts> to put the most posts at the top of the list.
At the moment you should be at the top of the second page.
Keep in mind that with some forum transfers some posts where lost so many pre 2013 members have actually posted a lot more than the stats claim. At the moment you seem to be on rank 30.

On your profile page it also tells you the number of posts you make a day on average, for me it's 2.6
Please don't let this be an "excuse" to shit post, however

Well, I got banned from this board for a month for sh*tposting :P That's why I didn't answer this for a while.rubenwardy wrote:On your profile page it also tells you the number of posts you make a day on average, for me it's 2.6

Post a pointless thread in Off-topic and check the order in which users post.
Every time a mod API is left undocumented, a koala dies.

Shit posting, eh? I'm freaking lagging behind because I can't find a "genuine" topic to make a "genuine" post on.

Some users only produce shitposts. But since there is no rule against shitposts there is no chance those users can be stopped.rubenwardy wrote:Please don't let this be an "excuse" to shit post, however

Actually, there is a rule against it. I even got banned for it once.Linuxdirk wrote:Some users only produce shitposts. But since there is no rule against shitposts there is no chance those users can be stopped.rubenwardy wrote:Please don't let this be an "excuse" to shit post, however

What's this thing with necroposting? Are there any rules against it?BBmine wrote:Actually, there is a rule against it. I even got banned for it once.Linuxdirk wrote:Some users only produce shitposts. Re: Is there a way to sort forum members by number of posts?
Ranking by number of posts clearly shows a mix of long-term, highly quality devs or contributors, plus a few who post a huge amount of unnecessary, pointless, low quality posts at a high rate.
These are:
MineYoshi
azekill_DIABLO
ABJ
BBmine
Even worse, if you look at the date of joining, they joined only 2-2.5 years ago, but MineYoshi and azekill_DIABLO have over 5000 posts, more than anyone. Whereas the high quality devs and contributors have been here since 2011 / 2012 / 2013.
I must ask politely that you restrain yourselves from unnecessary chatter and "+1" posts. Celeron55 does not receive enough in donations to cover his webhosting costs, and doesn't provide this forum for offtopic or unnecessary chatter, please find another forum for that (there is a MT offtopic forum). This is probably why the offtopic subforum was cleared out recently, much to our relief.

I have a feeling that this won't work.paramat wrote: I must ask politely that you restrain yourselves from ...

Paramat, thank you for reminding me. I am very sorry for any inconvenience caused to anyone as a result of my talkativeness. I will try my best to refrain in the future.paramat wrote:Ranking by number of posts clearly shows a mix of long-term, highly quality devs or contributors, plus a few who post a huge amount of unnecessary, pointless, low quality posts at a high rate.
