I’d prefer if there was a lot of bug fixes im the next version, and I ‘m probably not alone. MT does run pretty stable, still it crashes here an there, which can be annoying.

Is 0.5.0 being developed now? It should be released still some months ago as Minetest updates are usually released two times in a year.

guys... seriously... ppa builds of 4.16 stopped, there is no bugfix/service pack version 4.16.1, instead there is backport 0.4 what is actually 4.17 bugfix version and after all this there is no new ppa for the backport 0.4 a.k.a. 0.4.17. (facepalm) could you PLEASE consider hooking up the 0.4 backport whatever bugfix repo to the Jenkins/Travis (whtvr you are using) and make 0.4.17 daily ppa builds alive again? i dont see how this is not a trivial task but im a noob in these thing so my apologies up front if i miss something or my comment doesnt make sense at all

Agreed, test versions of 0.4.17 should be available for windows, linux and maybe even android for testing without the player having to build their own each time something is changed.

I propose releasing 0.4.x bugfix releases as usual (every 0.5 year) and move all the developer force to 0.5.
