Which best way to draw textures?

I want to create new mod with mobs and also plan to update Medicine mod. But how to do textures for mobs or other objects? Draw it in Blender or are still other ways?

Hell no I recommend gimp https://www.gimp.org for pixelart textures it's easier and faster
Also a nice tip you can use whatever colours you want and how many you want and when your done making your Texture Just Go in colour indexed mode and use a number like 14 or 20 it will look nice and retro like :)

Also Google pixel art color theory and do some Research (it really is a good idea to learn the pixelart color theory before doing pixelart XD )

I use Gimp for drawing items. But i think for drawing of models i need Blender as it is impossible to draw so textures of models by hand. For example, NSSM mod has textures for mobs are done in Blender (i saw it in some blender files before). Do you know how to do it so?

Andrey, look up how to create/export UVmap layouts with blender.
This would give you a texture layout image similar to the one for the character.png file for your mobs models
