what`s "formspec"?

I often met this word in Minetest Forum. And i don`t know what it means. Maybe is it a short?

it most likely is a short ;)

it describes the layout of inventory menues, like the windows for chests or furnaces =(^.^)=

Yes. It's a form. Whenever you see something pop up in Minetest (inventory, a question with a button, beds ), it's a formspec.

Formspec is a form. I think it stands for form specification, which is what you want the users see when they look your form.
