Operations with the chat

I have a question. What are hotkeys or anything else must i use for implement the operations in the game as cut off text, copy text, insert text and other? I tried to use Ctrl + C (Copy), Ctrl + V (Insert), but they nohow helped to it. Maybe anything other?

On (X)ubuntu I have the problem that it requires two times pasting (with Ctrl + V) until the right contents are there. Selecting everything with Ctrl + A and copying it using Ctrl + C however works.
Irrlicht's key input system isn't too great, like shown here and here. All you can try to do, is to check for newer irrlicht versions and pray that some issues were fixed.
