Yes, it checks if you are a talking animal or not. SO don't use a name that sounds like you are a animal.

I changed the backup script of the VPS to shut down the database in order to get better backups. The forum shows that page while the database is down.

I guess I should make it more descriptive...

Seems perfect to me. You can explain everything in full detail and there will still be users that don't get it. I run into this all the time on my forum.
