I was trying to join #minetest channel on IRC, however i joined something ##overflow one for some reason. When i was trying to join #minetest-dev it wrote: "#minetest-dev Cannot join channel (+r) - you need to be identified with services" . I could join only #minetest-hub. Please, help me, i don`t know why it happens so.

You can write it literally anywhere, even the server info thing.

Best thing is to write in in the server connection window/tab so in case anything goes wrong no potentially confidential data will be written to the currently active channel.

Since you're simply PMing ChanServ, you can write it in any channel and (provided you typed the command correctly), it will work. But for simplicity's sake, type it in the server info/status page where the message of the day and other connection information comes up:

#minetest-hub is an elitist channel that only grants a few select people the right to talk. You don't have that right.

You'll need to register first, then you can be added to auto-voice. Join the channel after registering and PM an operator if they don't see you

@rubenwardy: Every single member of #minetest-hub must have been manually approved by the leaders first. Without this approval, you're out of luck. So you just proved my point.

But i `ve already been registered there and as i `ve already created 3 accounts i can not create over.

You don't need to actually register on freenode to use it. As long as the name you tried hasn't been registered yet, it will be available for you to use, but it's also available for other people. Registering means you take control of the name and can then stop others using it. Only registered names can be added to auto-voice.

A quick search should give you help with registering if you're not sure how.
