Hello everyone! here is a topic where you can post pics of Biomes, Terrain, and of mods which add this things! (i.e. a Nether mod)!

Custom mapgen parameters for mgv7 that I use for more realistic terrain in my worlds. These are without biomes, of course.

Wow this shape kinnda looks like a chicken if it had eyes wings and a beak O.o

Modified the Lua Valleys Mapgen a bit today, and got interesting results with canyons

Thanks! Overalll, the v7 mapgen is excellent for creating alien landscapes, but it's not always ideal for terrestrial builds. So that's why I fine tuned the parameters to be a bit less extreme :)

Hmmm this is weird looking its a mix of Cold Desert with Snow Biome. No Mods. It Looks as if the Cold Desert just splashed into the Snow Biome...

Although there're no true canyons in Eden (at least I haven't seen any yet), such picturesque ravines sometimes can be spotted in deserts.

The pack is the game itself, Solar Plains.

Yes. There're many interesting features emerging in this mapgen variation, one of the most liked by me are "cluster rock formations" as I call them - outstanding groups of tall thin rocks at lower altitudes which sometimes resemble assemblages of praying pilgrims. This is one example here, another was posted in the main screenshots thread some time ago.





There are also less montainous but very nice areas there, as shown on this picture:
