i had this crazy idea just 2 hours ago. i was on my windows laptop & was thinking
what if i transferred a minetest subworld generated from the PC version
& transferred it to test it on an android tablet? surprize!!!!.... it actually worked!!
also the world starts from the last saved position when it was opened from PC.
i was like RIGHT ON!!! just in case if anyone was wondering if that could be done.

I'm glad you like that that works. However, risking to burst your bubble, this was entirely intentional and by design. :)

I noticed on an android device that if I pushed minetest into the background rather than exiting then when I came back later I could watch hours of footage in fast forward until the client caught up with the server. Only ever tried it on one device and one server. Not related to the original post but it reminded me of it for some reason :)
