In essence if you don't migrate your account to Microsoft after the deadline you'll lose access to the game.

I have a feeling alternatives like Minetest may see some increased interest.

This is the sort of action which makes microsoft a company run by douchebags.

No doubt github accounts will follow the same action very soon.

This is about more than people are going to realize.

No word of a lie, if I ever came face to face with Gates, I would kick him so hard in the nutsack he'd choke on them.
Any legal consequences would be well worth it
The guy is a serious scumbag, and so is the sketchy company he created.
A lot of people don't realize he has his stinky finger in Apple as well.
It's a monopoly, made to not look/appear to be a "monopoly"

But, society just keeps bending over and taking whatever microsoft gives them (or takes from them)
People would be very surprised to know just how much microsoft and gates have to do with government stuff too. (and not good stuff either)
It's all smoke and mirrors...

And when you talk out about these things, people just laugh at you and say "you're crazy"...
Until the day comes they all realize, you weren't as crazy as they thought.
microsoft/gates levy a lot of influence in government with their $$$
And in return, they do as they please. No one will ever stop them, and consumers will never complain... they'll just do as they're told and go with the flow...
Because, what other options do they have?

Most of the general population will always remain slaves to microsoft
It is a company run by and owned by globalists, which continuously pushing society to conform.
It is far too few who oppose, question, defy, or even fight back.

Don't be too surprised if one day, every person in the general public will have to have a microsoft account to do anything...
It will be as required as your SS# or Tax ID
You won't be able to do any banking or anything vitally important unless you have one.

This is the sort of stuff people put into novels about some "evil corporation" taking over the world slowly...

Oh, you need to renew your driver's license? What's you microsoft acct?
Oh, you heart surgery? You'll need to confirm your microsoft account...

There is nothing "good" about, nor related to microsoft or gates.

Most who read this, will think it's over the top madness over some little detail concerning just a game...
This move isn't just about "using MC Java"...
It's about much more.
microsoft is involved in a lot of sketchy stuff around the world... not related to an OS or games...
but about serious things such as people's lives, things which happen in other countries... bad things.

And it's all covered by BS PR... (giving to charities, etc.) all just a distraction
and any $ they give to a charity, they've already made back twice as much by the time that check clears...

Don't be fooled by any of it

I keep hoping that one day... some serious proof would become public for all to see, and expose gates and microsoft for what they truly are...
None of it is what it started out to be...

Society, in general, is truly dumb.
Even intelligent people... are dumb.
When someone asks of any govt., "Do they think we're stupid?", the answer is No... they don't think we're stupid... they know we are.
And they prove that fact each and every day by doing things which should really piss off all of society... yet no one does a thing about it.

And microsoft is the same, and they are in fact deeply involved with things related to parts of governments.
As I stated... all related to globalists.
And globalists are the biggest problem the general public has today, and it's getting worse and worse, faster and faster.
People think a one world currency and also a digital/paperless economy would be great???
Just wait and see what happens if any of that ever becomes a reality... (it won't work out well at all for the common people)

There are very, very few who can see the problems or refuse to simply ignore them to fit in with everyone else.
If you think all of this rant sounds completely crazy... congratulations, you fit in with society.
