Minetest Forums

I'm new here and have been playing with Minetest every so often (just to keep an eye on development). It seems like the engine and community has grown significantly over the last year or two, and was curious if anyone had suggestions for making the experience similar to that one really popular game? It would be nice to have something that kids were familiar with, but running under Minetest.

I found "Sphax TestBDcraft 256x MT04" and that helped a lot on the front-end.

What mods would you recommend for:

background music (is this even possible?)

mobs

tools/weapons

textures?

fonts?

Any suggestions are appreciated!
