Saving a portion of the world of a server
Hello, I have a question: How can I download and save a portion of a world from a server and import it into my own world? Are there tools for that?

Just open minetest client,
then go settings and look for save world local,
that is the sql db works for,
when you enter the world (as I did to save my builds on other worlds)
then during the gaming the client will save all mapblocks you have loaded, mean visited with your activation radius
after exit and close,
go to the minetest folder client, search for worlds
and should find sql.files named after the world you visited,
copy them into a world folder, like a world you host, fix the config, and put the mods in needed, if your sure can handle the unknown blocks
then you can easy open that copy and edit it ... and prepare to
