How to i restore my mods?

I used to play minetest downloaded from the snap store and now i ran it from the terminal. How do i restore the mods i installed on the snap version?
(i'm new when it comes to things like this)

I have two versions: one is 5.4.1 from the snap store and the other is 5.5.0 which i installed from the terminal. There are mods installed in 5.4.1

That's good, 5.5.0 is still in development so I would uninstall that if you can do so easily, and stick with 5.4.1 which is the latest stable release for playing.

but 5.5.0 is the only version that works from the terminal. How do i run 5.4.1?

Once 5.5.0 is removed then typing "minetest" into terminal should look for and run the snap version instead.

Here's the weird part
both minetests are there in the applications menu. But only one shows up in the dpkg --list command
