What are those creatures in the game?

Im fairly new to minetest. I've been playing on creative mode a lot. It took me a little while to figure out that the little green guys were rats, but what are the big brown guys that shoot fireballs? Do they have a name?

These are Dungeon Masters; also note that you're playing 0.3.1, as 0.4.0 and later versions do not have mobs.

Why are the rats green? it makes them look strange.

i use 4.0.dev-2012603 it has mobs ?

Well, these are not the original textures but just to show...

Left : oerkki (removed since 0.4, was my favorite monster)
Right : Dungeon Master (re-added, yay !)
Not here for a while due to some troubles between my graphic card and Minetest.
