Very clean. As a web programmer myself, those designs are very attractive to me. The main page's green header should be a little narrower though :)

what would be cool is if you put the games code faded into the background. open source and all. very lightly there, like almost visible so it doesn't pull away from the page.

You did a Dam good job.

Ah, didn't expected so big roll on this topic : )
This year I have engeenering exam and hadn't much time for minetest at all- you know, studies and work together can take away a big part of daytime.
I wanted to recreate this work a bit, but when I saw it online I'm pretty sure it exactly looks as it should.
As the minetest is opensource I will also open my sources ( thanks IZ for your email for I almost forget about this subject :) ).
However, as the sources are open, I shall prepare some stupid license, so the work won't be taken and used elsewhere ( I'm not pointing to anyone, it's just in case :) ).

Ok, here's the meat : >

By the way: @xyz you've made a great work cutting it down from jpeg. Big props from me :>

Why? Note that Minetest only accepts art and code under a free license, such as the LGPL/WTFPL (for code) or CC BY/CC BY-SA/WTFPL (for art) in its default distribution.

This is the simple license that grant the unlimited usage of design in whole domain of minetest.net and is not really combined with the game itself. So treat it as some kind of Lesser WTFPL as long as it is used for minetest.
Anyway, if it creates problems, I can change it in a moment, just give me a better solution.
My works were stolen and used in so many ways that I don't really care about the license stuff. It's more for minetest than for me.

I love it! +1000
My mods: The Nether | Doctor Who (WIP)

I have quit minetest ... again. I am heavily unimpressed by both the game and the community.

If celeron55 changes it to this, I'm going to give him the biggest virtual cookie there ever was.

I am really going to have to bring this to his attention, however for the game menu, he would have to change the entire graphic system of minetest. :/

He has noticed this, and he does not like it.

He prefers minimalistic websites, and he says "Minetest is not an entertainment company" in reference to the general style of this website design.

Not in celeron55's opinion.

Not enough identity and it makes Minetest look like "an entertainment company".

I like the current one more.

Our current website is a dokuwiki template, so (trusted) people can change the content of it. We can make releases without c55 changing the website now.
