Why is it necessary to post the map seed as proof? On my server, for example, the placement of Nyan cats doesn't use the default algorithm. So it is impossible to calculate their location knowing only the map seed.

You can't use the official algorithm anymore, because there is no official algorithm. I copied the last version of the mod that I had from minetest game, but I won't swear that anyone could duplicate it with all the weird mods I'm running. I'm not bragging about mine -- the only reason I see so many is because I'm constantly flying around checking magen results.
