Minetest's crafting

by PilzAdam » Post

Hello everyone!
I made a diagramm of the default crafting recipes in Minetest.
Image
  • black arrow: normal crafting
  • green arrow: drop
  • red arrow: cooking
  • purple arrow: item is in the same crafting group; can be used in the same recipes
  • light blue arrow: sapling growing and sapling drop from leaves
  • yellow arrow: water hitting lava
  • blue name: item is generated in the world
  • red name: furnace; item can cook other items
  • red box: item can be used as fuel
  • orange filled box: item is used to craft tools (pick, shovel, axe and sword)

Updated a bit. It now includes all items from the default mod.

You have a two way arrow between default:stone and default:stonebrick, but in game, it is only one way.

Updated.
Note that this is up to date with the current dev version of common.
Now supports all mods in common except stairs.

Can you upload the image to another site?

Why haven't I ever commented on this yet?

Because this is A bit better than the wiki.

Nice, I might use this as a quick reference for crafting.

Imho, this would be even better with (inventory) images.

By the way... I noticed some missing letters, was this diagram made by hand?
A script which goes through all the crafting recipes and turns them into e.g. a latex/graphviz/whatever script might be usefull to do the same (semi-)automatically for any version/any mod.
I'm running 0.4.13 stable with [technic][carts][farming_plus][biome_lib][unified_inventory] and a few other mods.

There seems to be a problem with the letter 'r'; look at everywhere it occurs and notice that it is squashed against the next letter.
