Moin, Moin

where is in the linuxversion 4.0 the place where the mod's are located ?

as there is no /bin or /data i am bit confused... or will it work when i just make a new /data/mod and put the mods in there ?

hopefull somebody understand what i try to explain ;-)

greetings from germany
thomas

*edit*

in linux the file looks like:
/home/user/.minetest/

so it looks like this

-.minetest
-cache
-texture
-World
-players

in windows it looks like:

-minetest
-cache
-texture
- data
-alternate-textures
-clienttextures
- mods
- doc
- world

My question is, can i also put in the linux version a folder - data with the subfolders, so i can use the mods ?

You should create "usermods" folder in .minetest and put your mods to it.

U can define the texturepack folder in minetest.conf which is in .minetest folder.
