Good good, and when you do update, again, have another folder with support for 0.31. :)

Please, rename the textures for 0.4 compatibility. It's really simple.

neko259: I'm really sorry for that! I'm gonna update it this following week as soon as possible (I promise!) for the 0.4 so I can also take a look at the new textures and modify them! Stay tuned! :)

Thanks. I can do the renaming for you, but you have to make bucket and the other textures of 0.4 (if you haven't done this yet).

Will you add textures for other mods? For example, mesecons.

Thanks!

neko259: I didn't plan to do this but I gladly take requests to adapt my pack for mods. Just tell me which ones, then, the new textures will be added for the next releases!

Just look to the mod page on wiki. There are screenshots there, and you can see various blocks and items there. For now I'm interested at mesecons. Maybe doors and hatches later, if they won't be included to default mod.

Thanks.

I can't use it D:
I put the data folder inside /0.4/ in ~/.minetest/, but the game still uses the default textures, which are somewhere in /usr/, I think. I'm using 0.4.dev-20111209-1, and I have installed it from the ubuntu ppa.

You need to replace the data folder in minetest main directory (/usr/share/minetest in your case).

I agree, I think we need better textures for the mesecon stuff. The default pictures are just a quick solution for the texture issue.
I will certainly add new textures to my mod if you make them.

Cheers,
Jeija

'sup! Just came here to tell you guys I'm gonna be a little bit late. I'm already working on the sound implementation now so I'm not doing your requests until next week. Thanks for your patience. :)

Actually, it only supports OGG Vorbis. I can plan to support the others too (except WMA, you should forget this format right now!) but in my opinion, OGG is the best that can be used for a game. MP3 is proprietary and less performant that OGG Vorbis now and Wave files are too heavy.

I'll see what I can do anyway for at least Wave files (or Flac?). :)

Great work! I agree that ogg and flas are the best of popular formats. I think you should add flac support for background music and ogg for sounds. Will you make soundpacks just like texturepacks for every mod?

ogg fine, wav ok but good for music. mp3 can burn and wma I don't care.

Ogg for sound effects is enough solution. For background music support for wav/flac wil be good option, but it not necessary.

For music. We could just convert mp3 to ogg. Right ?
I love mods :D
